...and honestly i was a little skeptical before we pulled in because ive driven past it so many times never stopping, but this place is actually such a gem the river access here is SO much better than the crowded spots further up, the water was perfect and clear and we found a nice shady spot within like five minutes of parking. we only stayed for a few hours but it was exactly what we needed, super chill and not overrun when we got there around midday. my kid spent the whole time splashing around and i actually got to read ... read more
