I am sharing my experience so other pet owners can make informed decisions. In 2021, I brought my dog to Dr. Pomeroy who we’d been going to for many years. My dog presented with symptoms that were misdiagnosed as giardia. Shortly after, she passed away from unaddressed congestive heart failure. Given the critical difference in treatment for these conditions, the failure to identify heart failure led to a very tragic outcome. Until Pomeroy’s I have never had a good vet and it has been a major issue throughout the years. I truly cannot say enough good things about these guys. Someone recommended them years ago when I was complaining about the cost of a dental cleaning at my previous vet. I took my sweet baby here instead and they did the cleaning at a very reasonable cost and even caught a heart murmur all the other vets missed - and put her on meds that absolutely allowed her to live longer than she otherwise would have.
