I was a patient but was treated like a number and a cash cow. After spending nearly 40k on DE IVF and 3 embryo transfers I finally switched clinics. Turns out this place was less that transparent for someone in my situation. Pushed us toward frozen eggs, knowing fresh could yield us better results. Thankfully, 5 years later, I do finally have my daughter and am pregnant with #2. I cant thank POMA for anything but heartbreak and debt.

My initial interaction with the clinic was positive—a quick follow-up phone call after my inquiry, where the front desk staff was kind and helpful in getting the process started. My first telemedicine appointment with the PA also went well. However, after that, the experience became frustrating. We were overwhelmed with tasks, information, and homework to complete. First off, I am sorry if you are reading this review because it may mean that you or a loved one is experiencing infertility. It is such a hard process. Here are some of my favorite things about Poma: we saw the same doctor for 90% of our visits, we were given realistic outcomes of IVF success which helped manage our expectations, and the staff was always upbeat and friendly especially the medical assistants. This review is for the admin / office management - nine out of ten times the phone is not answered; message via a mal-functioning app is the only way to contact them and yes there is a lead time. There were a couple of times I had urgent medical needs, I had to drive half an hour there just to get a timely answer, only seeing the staff were chatting and laughing and phone rings were ignored/silenced…
