I have been with this department for over 10 years with Dr. Shannon Heitritter. She was an amazing doctor and provided incredible care. I have been trying to seek alternative care from other providers who required referral after referral since April. I have really struggled to get my care transferred. As a surgeon, I can say this place used to be great but has slid downhill considerably over the past 5 years. Been treated for my thyroid there for years until Dr. Murray retired this year. He was awesome, and assured me that my prescriptions would be refilled until I could get in to see a new doc. Well, he's gone now and they won't refill my meds and it's another 6 weeks until I can see my new doc. I called to schedule an appointment, and the phone system or person hung up on me twice. This place has LOST IT! I've been going here for 40 years. Now, what do I do?
Well most of you are not aware so I will tell you now. This is NOT the Polyclinic any longer and has not been for a couple years! I worked here for 9 years in the Endocrinology Dept and recently left. The company that has taken over has made sure to ruin the Polyclinics name, the doctor's, nurses and medical assistants have all moved on with the exception of a few VERY good Doctor's. Well, I’ve been on hold for over an hour and now it’s 5PM, so we’re off to a rocky start I’ll try again tomorrow. My Endo is really starting to crine Update: I’ve been dealing with long-Covid for a year, so my doc gave me a referral to this clinic. waited 7 months for an appointment, got screened over the phone to come in, and when I got there the doctor said, “ Well, I’m not sure why you’re here” I told that if she doesn’t know, i certainly don’t .
