Hugh did my nails today and did a fabulous job. This place is clean and friendly.
Not my best salon experience, sadly. I took my mom here for a birthday pedicure. She asked for the deluxe but received only the basic services. I asked for a regular manicure and my nails were not filed evenly, my cuticles were not cleaned properly and my polish bubbled and wrinkled. The manicurist kept getting distracted, answering the phone, my nails were done in between alot of other distractions. So they did not get the proper layering and time and dried bubbly and wrinkled. I have been coming here on and off for over a year, but this visit was my last straw. No matter which pedicure package you pay for, they seem to do whatever they want instead of following what’s included. The last time I came, I paid for the Royal Deluxe, and the technician skipped several of the services that were supposed to be included. This time I decided to just get the basic pedicure, and they barely did anything to my feet. Absolutely the worst and most expensive "basic" pedicure I ever had! $45. Water was cold. Nothing put in it. Did not cut the sides of nails so toes still hurt. Legs got maybe 1 minute of cream then it was wiped off! Not a professional job at all.
I'm from out of town and my sister in-law brought me in for a pedicure on Mother's Day. It was a good experience so a couple days later I went in for an acrylic fill. Online the price for a fill and gel polish said $35 but they charged me $65. My nails look decent. Good shape and length of them are even. After the acrylic was applied and shaped usually they'll ask you to wash your hands before the gel. They didn't and also didn't apply a base coat for the gel so the texture on my nails isn't smooth on all of them. Not horrib... read more
