My first experience here was excellent. I called for an emergency appointment for my son and my doctor was amazing. The staff were great and really helpful. Today was completely different. I called at 9:36 a.m. to book an appointment for my 9-month-old son, Issa Khan, and spoke to a RECEPTIONIST who was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping. The doctors I have seen have given a good standard of care. Unfortunately the reception staff are often less than helpful and verging on rude. It's almost impossible to get through on the phone, I've regularly been cut off by the automated system and when you do get through you're told you should have used the web form but for anything other than repeat prescriptions the web form is insufficient as questions asked there are not replied to or answered. Really disappointing experience since switching to this GP. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful, and communication around my repeat prescription was awful. I was told my medication was ready — only to be turned away because the summary from my old GP (sent months ago!) wasn’t “sufficient.” No one had bothered to tell me this earlier: I had to get an emergency prescription elsewhere, and when I ran out of that, I became ill. Literally the worst experience I have had with a doctor’s surgery. Admin/Reception staff are rude, show no empathy and no manners. Why does the management let them speak to patients like this? If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you are thinking of joining, do yourself a favour and DON’T!! Go literally anywhere else. You will have a better experience.
