I have taken my family to see Mr. Polk for many years now, and have been very pleased. He has always made the right diagnosis and his treatment has been accordingly. accordingly. Horrible. Tried to remove a medication for anxiety that i have been on for 10 years (that causes seizures as a withdrawal symptom from quitting cold turkey, any good PCP knows that you are supposed to gradually stop a medication such as this and not stop it cold-turkey) and put me on a high-packed bynadryl for a placebo. When i reported to him that my anxiety was still present and the medication only put me to sleep, and i was unable to function (aka go to work, drive, make large decisions, ect.) , he suggested i see a psych... read more
