I have been a member for several years. This is my first time being hurt and attempting to use it. The experience is beyond horrible and I keep getting excuses that my documentation from the doctor is not correct for me to receive payment. I never believed that I would receive such treatment from this organization.
After having this insurance for years and never using it money got tight tried to call and cancel at the beginning of the month. Was told I had to send in a request they pulled the money out of my account the next day. Instead of holding off for a day until my request was received. I guess they are like every other money hungry company. They say they care I never received the care
Cancel your policy now. These people take advantage of cops and firemen. They only pay on claims where you miss a day or two of work. This makes it seem like they are a doing a good job. However, I was injured on the job and missed a significant amount of work and they claimed they didn't cover it. When they have to make a significant payout you won't get. Furthermore they ignore customers constantly in hope they just go away. PFIA is simply a group of Dastardly human beings
