Called to schedule a new patient appointment for my child, was told that because I used to be a patient and stopped going you get banned from returning as a patient and an exception would need to be made by the dentist. When I relayed to them that I only stopped going there because my insurance had changed and they did not take the new insurance, the answer remained the same. I let me know to not even bother asking for an exception because that was an incredibly odd and extreme policy to have.
