If I could give them 1000 stars I would . I had techs out to service my heat pump in December, same day service, excellent service, they left me filters for a year. Very reasonable. This evening 7/5/25 my thermostat went out, it was after hours, within 30 minutes a very nice tech Victor Martinez called me let me know he was on his way. WOW, once again he fixed the issue and even checked the heat pump. No charge, he replaced the batteries in the thermostat. From Hero to ZERO. Started doing business with them in 2018. Initially they came and resolved a problem in a manner that prompted me to give them 5 stars. But time will tell if a company is "all that" and I am sad to say Polar Cooling is not "all that." My first bad experience came when I had scheduled them to come check a unit (our house has 2, one for upstairs and one for downstairs) that was making a loud squealing noise when it started. Called polar cooling to check ducts for leaks and to clean. The guy who set up the appointment sent a guy out. The tech wanted to charge me for a service call. I said “I was not quoted a service fee for the call”. The service tech left and I looked forward to getting a quote for the work I wanted done. Ten days later no quote but rather an invoice for the service call, so I called them to inquire about the invoice stating that I did not agree to paying for a service call to get a quote to have work done.
