I drove 10 hours to see Dr. Pokorney from TN. I had suffered from a chronic wound for almost nine months from a seroma and could not find help in TN. I am a uniformed park ranger at the Smokies and was having to bandage my leg 2 to 3 times daily. I trusted Dr. Pokorney from going to him before when I had worked at Cape Hatteras NS. I was somewhat hesitant and scared about my voluntary procedure, but after it was said and done I have to say I was very surprised at how well I did. Surgery is never a piece of cake, but Dr. Pokorny did a great job and after the first week, I was really shocked at how little pain I endured. If you are ever hesitant of having elective cosmetic surgery, I would be glad to share my experience. Dr Pokorny went above and beyond to help diagnose me with a problem unrelated to what I went to see him for. He went as far as to set up x-rays and an appointment with a doctor who can hopefully help me. Thank you Dr Pokorny.
Dr. Porkorny and his staff were excellent. I had lots of questions and he answered them all, he never rushed me out of the office. His staff handled my insurance and kept in touch with me the whole time. I had a choice of hospitals and there too his staff was excellent. The after care, follow up calls and appointments made me really comfortable to know they truly cared. Not to mention the surgery went perfectly.
Dr pokorney did an excellent job. Just some issues with the after care with getting prescriptions sent to correct place. But overall very good doctor
