I come here regularly to get my daughter the white rice with chicken gyoza (chicken dumplings) and avocado. By far, this is her favorite takeout spot. She insists the chicken dumplings here are the absolute best! Take it from my 14-year-old — she’s a very picky eater, so that says a lot.
I used to enjoy getting takeout from here but I'll never go back after today. I don't think I've ever been treated with such contempt. The man at the counter was combative, sarcastic and arrogant. He was on a personal phone call while I placed my order and he made it clear where his priorities were.
I usually love this place but I was very disappointed by the experience I had recently. I went in to get a bowl around 8pm (they close at 9) and I asked for shrimp tempura (usually they have none out but they’ll make it in the back if you wait a moment) and when I asked the worker said they turned the fryers off which is completely fine but what really upset me when when I asked what time they usually close them so I can plan for the future she said usually 8:30 but the lady that does it turned them off already and doesn’t f... read more
