Great service and bowls are stacked even small.
Not awful but I hate the random chunks of lettuce I get, the shrimp and salmon are so flavorless. Not the worst but could be better
I had a very disappointing experience at McHenry Poke Bowl. The employee with blonde hair who helped me was unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome from the moment I walked in. It was my first time visiting, and when I asked questions about the menu, she barely explained anything and acted like I was bothering her instead of helping me choose my meal. Wandered in here during a quiet Saturday afternoon and ended up with one of those properly lovely meals you don't see coming. The place was warm and welcoming the moment we walked in, our table was lovely, and our server was a complete delight throughout the afternoon. The food was honestly excellent — proper portions, fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented without being precious. Our poke bowls were AWESOME and the employees were friendly. Once the management fixes the AC, we will come back and also give a 5-star review. We sympathize with the employees who had to work in the extremely hot and unventilated room, must be awful. Also, buying a bowl of fish from a restaurant without working AC isn't so attractive.
