I’m saving you the time by saying do not live here. The only good thing about this place is the short walk to campus. Since i’ve moved in here there are always issues. Our washer was broken and it took them a month to replace it. the front stairway entrance door handle is broken and there’s no way to get in. All of the doors are currently broken and unlocked for anyone to just walk in. the elevators are broken and they said it will take about 60 days to fix them. yes i said 60 days. the pool is always closed for some mainten... read more

The people who run the pointe are very nice people. But the building itself is awful if you are looking for an apartment just to be on campus please choose somewhere else. Both elevators are almost always out of order. And the door that the majority of residence use has been broken and unavailable. For the price residents are paying it is not worth it

Yes the ammenities are nice, but they are just a mask over the nightmare that is living here. I have lived here for three years, my first two actually being a decently pleasant experience. The downfall of this complex came with the new management team that started earlier this year. They claim to be picking up after the prior management team, but I have never had as many issues as I do now. Communication is horrible. This is my first year living here, my decision to move in was because my now roomie told me she had a good experience her fist two years. But since they changed the management everything went downhill. First of all the work orders can take up to four weeks to get completed, even though they require immediate attention. They don’t take accountability and only ask you to wait since they have a “new management”. They apartment is nice from the outside but living here is a mess. I parked outside the complex to attend class at Texas State, and when I returned, I found paint spilled all over the hood of my car (confirmed when i went to NAPA). I immediately went to the leasing office to report the issue, but instead of offering help, they dismissed it outright. They claimed it couldn’t have been them since painting was being done indoors, yet when I requested camera footage, I was told the cameras were “conveniently” being updated.
