This café is hidden away on the sixth floor of the world-known Huntsman Cancer Institute near the University of Utah. The Point, a spacious triangular restaurant, is surrounded by windows, from which diners can look over the city while a high, pointed ceiling floats overhead. great food, amazing location, limited hours – The Point is the cafeteria for Huntsman Cancer Center. They are only open for lunch M-F so if you have a job it's a little hard to get up there. It can get crowded around 12-1pm. We love the quesadillas but the carver station is always good. The portions can get huge but the price is always right. We love the point and always go when we have the afternoon off.
Great food and a view that can't be beat! – The point is an upscale cafeteria-type restaurant on the 6th floor of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The view and good values make this a place to go for a pleasant change of pace for breakfast or lunch. – The Scene Tucked up on a sixth-floor corner point of the Huntsman Cancer Institute, The Point is a spacious, high-ceilinged triangle that seems to be mainly windows, allowing fine views of the adjacent Wasatch Mountains and the Salt Lake valley.
