Great place, it was like a treasure trove.
This place profits off of hate. These racist caricatures are all *over* the place. There are many “mammy” figurines throughout both floors & even the porter bank with exaggerated lips & bulging eyes is sold explicitly as an item of ‘nostalgia’. What about this is nostalgic to the owners of this antique shop? Shoppers should know what is on these shelves before they walk in.
I love this place. Granted, I spend most of my time in the used Vinyl sections, but every single time I’m in Point, I make sure to stop by. The KFF section is where I spend the most time, with a really solid $3 section and 20% off all records that aren’t marked FIRM. Overall, the pricing and quality CAN be hit or miss so definitely make sure you take the record out of the sleeve. The KEN section in the back corner however, is a different story.
