Great cabins with one two or three bedrooms right across from the ocean and between the Belfast and Lincolnville
Cute cabin, but atrocious customer service from vacasa, the company that manages the property. First, the amount of data mining and hoops they ask a client to jump through are unnecessary, time consuming, and off-putting. Next, they double billed us, booking two cabins when we only wanted one, then put the burden of proof on us, and we had to spend over an hour and a half on the phone with multiple customer "service" representatives before someone finally listened and helped. We stayed at Point Lookout for 3 days, and it was perfectly located, halfway between the twin coastal communities of Camden and Belfast. You turn into a well manicured compound that hosts a series of cabins scattered across a vast expanse of land. Our cabin was modern and well furnished. 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Warning: This has changed management to Vacasa which is owned by Casago. Both are terrible companies with equally terrible investors. Vacasa is a predatory company both for people looking to rent their house and people who are renting through their website/app. They treat their employees terribly. Just look up reviews. You have to give them your ID and a selfie. Couldn’t find anywhere in their site that stated they wouldn’t sell this information. You also have to create a vacasa account to modify your stay.
