It’s unfortunate that this is the new place for routine baby vaccines in NDG (CLSC no longer offers the service). The space is unwelcoming and sterile feeling. There is nothing to make babies or children feel welcome (no pictures on walls, stickers, books in wait area). The nurse we had did not seem comfortable with children. They also refused to give our baby one of her vaccines as they stated their schedule said she was not due yet (even thought the vaccine manufacturer, her doctor, and pharmacy said she was). I was lucky to get an appointment for a blood test on such short notice. The nurses (Sheila and Gabriel) were so kind, professional and overall amazing (6/5 stars) The only downside, the receptionist wasn't really professional.
I want to thank the staff of clicsante decarie and particularly the nurse who took care of me she was so ptofessional in every step of the way that i called her a champ. I had to return for the second shot 2 hours later. She even called me to make sure I wouldn't miss it. She was wonderful I'm thankful we have this place
