The counselors here try to have you see yourself as a victim and that everything is trauma. They prefer to take an avoidance approach vs addressing issues which makes for more mental health issues. I have moved on to better and unless you want to be stuck in a victim needing therapy and needing their services go elsewhere

I had a horrific experience with Elisabeth during the most vulnerable and traumatic time of my life. I was experiencing what I now know was Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome from a SSRI that I tapered off of under the guidance of my primacy physician. Instead of trying to help me and understand what I was going through, her only approach was to try and find me a psych unit to put me in and she completely stopped talking to me.
