The counselors here try to have you see yourself as a victim and that everything is trauma. They prefer to take an avoidance approach vs addressing issues which makes for more mental health issues. I have moved on to better and unless you want to be stuck in a victim needing therapy and needing their services go elsewhere

I had a horrific experience with Elisabeth during the most vulnerable and traumatic time of my life. I was experiencing what I now know was Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome from a SSRI that I tapered off of under the guidance of my primacy physician. Instead of trying to help me and understand what I was going through, her only approach was to try and find me a psych unit to put me in and she completely stopped talking to me. I’ve been seeing Jeana Council for about 6–7 years now, and she has helped me in so many ways. She helped me discover and navigate aspects of my mental health and a disability I never even knew I had until she noticed it in our sessions.
