The recreation center itself is nice but my bad rating comes from the climbing wall. I felt unsafe and a lack of respect from the staff. Just because I informed them that I have a good amount of climbing experience and wanted to try and get belay certified, there was slight gossip between the staff as if I was being a “Karen”. Best gym equipment, people are always nice. I have trouble at the gym sometimes but the people there are the nicest ones you'll ever meet.

Awesome recreation center at UNT. Kids went to a summer camp there and they got to use the pool at recreation center. Tons of workout equipment, very clean and not crowded (not sure if it’s due to summer), there are area for lounging as well. A huge climbing wall anchors the entire center. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Only thing is parking. Since we are familiar with the campus, we didn’t know where is the public parking for the rec center.
