A lot of these reviews are from 2014-2015 and I couldn’t disagree with them more. I had my appointment on 2/17/2024 and it was amazing!! Everyone was welcoming, even the people who weren’t working with me directly were kind and supportive from a distance. Rachele, who assisted me, was the best. She listened to everything I said, she was helpful and kind and didn’t push any dress on me. If I wanted to try it on she was ready to help and if I hated it she was on my side. It was amazing.

We were NOT impressed at all! From the moment we stepped through the front doors we did not get a warm and welcome vibe. We were there to shop for my sister a wedding gown. We did our research and according to Poffie Girls website an appointment was not necessary. Being that we had a 2 hour drive ahead of us to get there, we didn't make an appointment. This is a horrid place. Walking thru the door for my daughters appointment we had to fill out a card and asked to wait in the other room. Once an attendant did assist us she was rude while my daughter was speaking and seemed more excited to assist another bride. A bride is suppose to feel special thru the whole process. She tried on 2 gowns and asked for the veil to try them on with and was told when she got down to the two she liked best she would get accessories?! Rushed and rude. Great place to purchase a dress, however alterations were a nightmare. After seeing Poffie Girls featured on Platinum Weddings and hearing about their fantastic selection, I decided to check it out. The selection process was a breeze. I worked with Ginger who was fantastic. I found my dream dress ( Enzoani, Marlow) and the process of getting the dress was quick and easy. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! My daughter's dress was ordered on February 1, 2013. Her prom wasn't until April 20th, so we were assured the dress would arrive at the store in plenty of time to have alterations before the April 20th prom date. We called often to check the status of the delivery and was given a different delivery date each time. The sales associate changed the delivery date 4 different times - after the 4th missed date (10 days until prom!) I requested a refund. Ok- Poffie girls has gorgeous dresses and a huge tasteful selection. Very large price range- but classy dresses. However, if you want accuracy and good service- it's a loose cannon. I ordered my wedding dress from there which they screwed up and didn't get the right one, so a few weeks from my wedding they finally go the right one....... also I tried to warn my sister from getting her dress from there- but she also got the bridesmaid's dresses from these people, which they screwed up the entire order for bridesmaid's dresses... read more
I recently got married and went to Poffie Girls to purchase my gown. From the moment I walked in I felt like the most important person. The friendliness of the staff and the personal attention showed to me by everyone who worked there made me aware that I didn’t want to go anywhere else, which is why I purchased everything there from Tuxedos to invitations.
