It is an informal place located on a good sized property and was quite lovely the day I was there as some native plant with white blossoms was in bloom.. Very nice. I think there were about three shooters when I was there, all on different ranges and I liked being alone.. The range that I was on was in a field so it was not fancy like a citified range.. The owner, Walter, was quite helpful and friendly. And in case you like to graze after shooting, I can recommend Jungle. Burger in Terrell.. It was excellent.

I took my 4 year old daughter (Walters granddaughter) hunting a while back and it was her first bird hunt ever. She enjoyed the whole experience! Unfortunately my belly didn't enjoy the experience as much due to my poor shooting abilities but that will improve. Great times. Thanks for opening up a new adventure for us.
My puppy Jaeger and I had a great time with Walter. My pup was 11 weeks old so we explored the large field on a long lead and waded in the ponds. Then I hid a couple homing pigeons in a smaller field. Mr. Patton showed me how to lock the wings. Jaeger managed to find them all and bring them to me just in time for the wings to come unlocked and fly out of his mouth. It was hilarious and I'll be back. My dog was happy to get out of our manicured neighborhood.
