Avoid PODS at all costs. I scheduled a POD to be delivered today as part of a carefully planned move. The POD never arrived. When I called to find out why, I was told that my delivery request had been denied. The problem? No one from PODS ever bothered to notify me that the request had been denied. I then spent over an hour on the phone being transferred around and speaking with an overseas call center, only to be told that the earliest they could deliver my POD would be 22 days from now. Moved our original drop off date delaying our packing, Then went to schedule pickup date, and they had none available in the same month. Sold our home and had to work out a deal with new owners to leave our pods in the driveway while they attempt to move in(embarrassing headache) Then coordinate for them to have their vehicles out of the way for pickup when it isn't even our home anymore. This PODS experience was seamless! Delivered on time and picked up on time. No surprises in the cost. We finished our basement and stored our belongings on site. It was the perfect solution.
