I am leaving 5 stars PURELY for the employee Brian (hopefully I got his name correct, he was working the front desk 06/18.) Dealing with what I presume is the corporate PODS line is a nightmare and they delivered the pod but did not set us up on Brian's schedule. With just an hour until close and other tasks he needed to do, Brian went above and beyond to work the situation out on our behalf with PODS and made sure we could get this move finished. If not for Brian this would be a 1 star review, truly. He rocks!!!
After delivery, they failed to provide the weight tickets, full container, and empty weight container weight tickets. When we asked the driver where the weight tickets were, he directed us to call customer service. Customer service then directed us back to the driver, but the driver had already left. They are punting us back and forth with no definitive answer, leaving us with no ability to get the tickets for reimbursement. It is a terrible experience. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend PODS. While the drop off of the Pod went fine, I was very upset on how coordinating the pick up went. After confirming a pick up date and receiving a window of time from PODS that I should expect my driver to arrive, I scheduled a furniture delivery for later in the day as I needed the Pod in my driveway to be removed to receive the furniture. Do NOT use this moving company. I ordered pickup, confirmed multiple times, and they don't show up and don't answer the phone. What a joke!
Had a great experience. Alexis really helped me out getting the pod delivered and picked up in the city. Thank you!
