PODS completely failed at the one job I hired them for. No service window, no communication, no follow‑through, and no accountability. I spent two days calling, and every representative blamed the warehouse, which apparently doesn’t answer anyone. This company is disorganized, unreliable, and absolutely not worth your money. Avoid PODS at all costs.
Over promised and Under delivered. I paid above competitors prices realizing that a move can be stressful and requires coordination based on reviews posted online. Unfortunately, my experience was not in line with those reviews. Communication is non-existent and the website only shows static scheduled delivery time-frames with no updates during delays or failure to deliver. I used PODS for a cross-country move from Winston-Salem, NC to Salt Lake City, UT. The short version is that ultimately, PODS got the job done, and for pretty cheap. Although it was a very frustrating process. Longer version for those of you considering this option: The concept here is interesting, and innovative. So much so that others are copying it. First and last time using PODS. I will make it easy for you: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I had reserved a POD to be scheduled for drop off this morning, the 21st (reservation made on the 18th). Due to the nature of the storage needs, it was imperative the unit was dropped off today and not later (e.g., Monday). The driver no-showed, but when I reached out to customer service, they said the driver came by at 9am and there was an "obstruction", so they couldn't deliver.
