Amazing stay! The location in Coogee is perfect—close to the beach and everything you need. The service was great throughout my stay, and a special thank you to Esmeralda for such a warm and friendly welcome. I would definitely come back!

I had a great stay at the hostel, and wish I could stay longer. While the hostel is in need of a bit of updating and refurbishment (which I believe is ongoing), the location and especially all the staff make it a really great place to enjoy Sydney. Frequent busses to everywhere including the airport and CBD are just down the road. There is a supermarket practically next door and Coogee beach just a stones throw away. If I'm ever back in Sydney, this is where I will be staying! Thanks again guys!
Only rating this 2 stars because I ended up pushing to get a refund, and the lovely staff figured things out for me, even with the “no refund” policy. My partner and I booked a private double room for 16 nights, and chose this hostel because of the price and location. I am not the target audience for hostels by any means, but we did pay to have our own room. I thought this would be comparable to other budget hotels we have stayed in, but I was mistaken.
