I would never take a loved one to this Dr again. Thank the lord we walked away completely before ever allowing him to put our 4 year old under and do surgery for a tonsillectomy. We had to have extensive tests for my sons bleeding disorder, over 6 months worth of tests(10k worth of tests). Once he was finally cleared for surgery from the hematologist we were told his office would call and schedule the appointment. After 3 weeks, we never received a call. I have had to see Dr. D on 2 separate occasions. The 1st, I had some fluid coming out of my nose that could have possibly been a CSF leak. The test came back inconclusive (he told me negative) which was fine. It resolved on it's own anyway. He referred me to UofU because he couldn't help me. They (at the time) didn't accept my insurance, so I didn't go there. This was after I tried all the sprays and everything else he suggested and after he had left me in a room and forgotten me. Disappointing experience, mostly due to the staff and not because of Dr. Donaldson. Was seen a year ago to look into ongoing sinus infections. In summary I'm told surgery is in order. I left asking staff that I would like an estimate how much surgery would cost with my insurance, they said they'll run the numbers and call me back. They never did and I never followed up with them, I wanted to see how long it would take to get a call back.
