Poalillo Vineyards is located west of the city in the gorgeous Paso Robles countryside. This vineyard was established in the 1990's and is an award-winning winery that is family owned and run. The vineyard produces some exceptional wines and a favorite is theZinfandel, a brilliant red wine that's produced using grapes that are grown locally. The tasting room is quaint and rustic yet charming and offers the perfect setting to taste these fine wines. The staff and owners at the vineyard are extremely knowledgeable and friendly... read more

This winery is closed. Made reservations to stay at the Villa in December of 2016 for a stay in May 2017. Winery closed April 2017. We were never notified. We were able to stay in the Villa, but very surreal being in an abandoned winery.

We love Poalillo for its handcrafted, fine wines that are big, intense yet balanced. You can feel the love of their wine in every bottle. But it's not just the wines that we enjoy. It's also the atmosphere and fun that they create that makes you want to hang out and recharge. Dave is a fabulous guitarist and entertained us and other wine tasters on the patio overlooking their vineyard, farmed land and hills forested by lush oaks. Susan, his wife, has great energy and soulfulness and has many stories to share. We need to stop... read more
I got the chance to stay here for the weekend during the Harvest Festival. It is quite simply a beautiful vineyard with hosts and wine to match. During the festival they had live music from incredibly talented local artists and they featured food from another local favorite. These guys made me fall in love with Paso and I'll be making the journey back often.
Friendly, passionate and informed service. A family affair, serving excellent wines. In late July 2013 my wife and I were in Paso Robles only for 2 days - silly us - on our way back across the the country to our home in Atlanta, GA. It was a Tuesday afternoon and we were only able to visit a couple of wineries. While on our way to a highly recommended wine tasting and meandering through the gorgeous California countryside, we passed a place a place that Amy (my bride) remarked, "Looks like fun!" The vineyards that we had int... read more
