There is a reason I took all my investments out of this joke of a bank
Would only cash a check Drawn on their bank for a 2 1/2 % fee charge. Not a good way to make friends. Have dealt with this bank before and they still suck.
The people are well-intentioned but everything takes about 3x as long as it should here. I went in for a Cashier's Check yesterday and it took 35 minutes from the time I started speaking with someone about my request. Everything is tied up in big corporate bureaucratic processes. It's like pulling teeth for 'simple' transactions. Plus they nickel and dime you for everything. I have been shifting my accounts away from PNC for some time and will continue to do so
I visited PNC to withdraw a cashier’s check and get a document notarized. Despite being a PNC customer, I was told they wouldn’t provide notary services unless my mortgage was with them. I was disappointed by this lack of support. I ended up going to a competing bank that was happy to help—no strings attached. Safe to say, I’ll be moving my business elsewhere.
