Horrible service. Locked my account for fraudulent activity and wouldnt unlock it even after I provided proof of transactions. Now Im behind on bills for 90days after another investigation is being done.I dont know what Im going to do as far as far as living arrangements. I asked them to not allow withdrawals from vendors and they approved that but vendors are still withdrawing my money and when I called cooperate they still continued to let them withdraw out of the account. Cant access my money! I opened my simple app this morning only to learn the company no longer exists. It instructs me to install a completely different app and signup for a complete different account. The problem is I no longer have access to my simple account to see my account numbers and things. I called support and the only way I can start the process is if I tel them my social security number (which is a nonstarter for me.) I just want my money out of this crappy bank but can't get access. First of all this "bank" doesn't deserve even 1 star. Deserves NEGATIVE 10 STARS! Unfortunately my bank, Simple was taken over be BBVA and closed on May 8th...... I still can't access my account at Bbva. I call and upon answering the call reps immediately say that they are unable to look up account information to try back again in about ***** min. Lack of customer service is reason why I continue to bank elsewhere. I came to the ******/Cherry Creek BBVA branch when I was told they would have the uncirculated bills I'd requested days earlier. Before conceding they had no access to the safe (because the only person with access had been out for three days), I was criticized for wanting uncirculated bills (which the FED says they eagerly provide through retail banks); and after it was apparent they'd wasted my time, there was not the slightest apology for the inconvenienc... read more

I am another Simple user who is getting transitioned to ****. I have been without access to my bank account for 10 days now. The first couple days I tried logging into **** and I got the technical difficulties message. I decided to wait and let things settle down. After a few days it still didn't work so I called support which took forever. They do not answer quickly and I don't have hours to waste sitting on the phone. I had been a happy customer of Simple for almost 5 years. Unfortunately, as a new BBVA customer, I am appalled by BBVA's lack of transparency, sense of responsibility, and inability to even attempt to effectively communicate with their customers through this transition. Despite numerous hours spent on hold, countless calls spent being hung up on by representatives, and the use of multiple avenues for communication with the bank, I am still unable to access my account more than a week after the initial transition. I will not recommend anyone to bank with BBVA. On April 26th I reported that my account was compromised and all my funds were stolen. The bank and fraud department did nothing to help me and consistently denied my fraud claims. In fact, the first agent **** that I spoke with accused me of stealing my own funds. When I asked to receive a credit the representative stated that they simply do not have the funds to just credit to my account. I’ve been a PNC customer for years. But my recent experience with their Customer Service was so bad that. I will be going to another Bank. It started with a calling to PNC Customer Service because my present debt card was going to expire and I haven’t yet received my new card. So, the customer service person. Said because I didn’t receive the card. She will issue me another one and send it out ASAP. Insuring me it will have the same number. Wow, where do I start? This company took over my previous bank, Simple on 5/8. Prior to that, I had attempted to get my money out of simple and switch banks, but was not allowed to access my funds. This wasn't BBVAs fault, but it was aggravating. Fast forward to 5/19 and since the transition, I have been trying to close my account and transfer funds, but NOTHING has happened.
