Not FDIC compliant. They do not care about their customers and could care less if you stay or go. **************** is non-existent, pending you can actually reach someone that understands your issue, and if something happens with your money - they will do absolutely nothing to get it back. I banked with them for over a decade and they could truly care less about helping me or keeping my business. Whos money is my account? Is it my money? Or is it PNCs? I made a purchase online, I verified my identity through PNC 2-way authentication process and accepted the charges to only find out they declined the payment and locked my debit card and then I had to call them and fix the issue. The time sensitive order was cancelled and they screwed me over. This is the last time. **************** was terrible and useless. Im taking ALL of my money elsewhere. S**** this incompetent and worthless bank.

I opened new accounts there just a couple months ago, and have had nothing but problems since. I was promised the account I opened would be simple to make large transfers from to an external account. Turns out, I was limited to a single 2k transfer once a month. It took my account getting blocked after multiple attempts to figure out why a trip in to the local branch, and several hours for them just to get the block lifted. Awful! So rude, and there customer service is terrible. There website ***** too and they couldn't help me with basic bank functions.

Great service in PNC Bank Branch at *******, ** on many occasions.
I had a mortgage with PNC and all of the sudden they doubled my monthly payment! They forced me into escrow even though I was making insurance and tax payments separately. They decided to force their insurance on me which was the highest available of course. While in the process of refinancing with them I got a foreclosure letter out of the blue! I lost my house and truly HATE them.
No notice of account closure!!!!! I deposited $500 in CASH at 1pm at my local branch. An hour later I checked my balance and my deposit was still not available. **************** number was unfriendly and unhelpful and instructed me to go back to my local branch. Upon returning and waiting over an hour to see the one and only banker, I was told that my account had a 3 day hold so no money can go in or out of my account. That was a lie!! They sure didnt mind taking $500 in cash and then freezing my account so I couldnt access ... read more
I hate to write a bad review - in this case they Earned the rating. PNC was a good bank for me until I had to deal with the fraud Protection unit. There is no protection from fraud at PNC. They provide a form of reactive response at best to a crime. I used the alerts on my account. I called at the time of a fraudulent transaction. Within an hour of the activity coming up pending, not yet posted. I was informed they could do nothing until it was posted. Applied online system didnt process my application and I didnt get notified. I called 3 days later to check on status and after speaking to 5 different people and repeating my name and ss number, close to 1/2 hour wait from rep to rep, they were able to tell me what was the matter. This was a waste of time. Online with PNC is NOT your best option. This customer is taking business elsewhere.
