After having a very upsetting and frustrating experience at another PNC Bank branch following my father's passing, I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we received at the Union branch. The other branch refused to let me close my father's accounts, insisting that I needed additional paperwork from the Surrogate's Office related to my mother, who passed away nearly ten years ago. This is the worst branch ever. I was trying to open an account. I went to the bank with all my documents. The branch manager reviewed them, told me he is going to send them to the back office and that he will get back to me in a day or two. I waited one week, and I called to follow up. Someone other than the branch manager answered the phone and I explained everything to the person. She took my name and phone number, told me the branch manager will call back. No call back.
