Very unsatisfactory. I deposited a personal check from PNC via the mobile app into my personal Chase account. An hour later I received an email from ***** informing me that the check was deposited and accepted but will take nine days to clear and for the funds to be made available. (It didnt actually say nine days but from the day I deposited it to the day the money was available equaled nine days.) For a check to take that long to clear is mind boggling. Had a account with PNC detected suspicious activity in my account notice someone from the bank was doing transactions without my permission contact the bank I was refunded money and had them open up an investigation and all I got is a fraud alert on my name because pnc made a mistake this is so hurting because when I go to other banking institutions they bring up fraud from pnc I never committed any fraud but yet Im being accused and punished for there mistakes its a shame that PNC would make my life a living h*** for there ... read more

I've had PNC for a few years. I currently had a dispute that took them a few months to investigate which is very disappointing! Now as they have finally resolved the investigation. I've received a letter stating they resolved in my favor and that I would receive my funds along with any fees acrued. However to this date, several more weeks later, I have not received anything and when I call they state "that department doesn't receive calls". I do no recommend this bank at all. My mom and stepdad have a loan against there house. He passed in Nov 2022 and my mom wanted to pay the loan off. It was 8k more than the letter stating her payoff amount. No one could tell us why. We waited 2 months for reports that never came. After requesting reports twice and three calls to their home office we found out it was for flood ins. PNC F**ING SUCKS! No customer support! They don't even have email communication! What a joke!
Horrible customer service. I went with a judges order in hand to close my husbands account.My husband passed away only weeks ago and this is a very difficult time. The bank manager told me the judges order was not legal, basically and I needed to go to probate. The judges document was the dispensation order from the will being probated and was a direct order to dispense property to me.He refused to close the account. I paid off my car September 9th, and called asking for just a letter saying I paid off my loan so finalize the sale of a new car. They will not email it and insist on fax or snail mail, so I provided my fax number multiple times. Here we are, Sept 19th now, and every single time I call, someone says - oh we put in the request - and it never comes. I understand the letter is mailed out weeks later, but I expressed the urgency for the need of a simple letter saying I paid off my loan. I have literally called about 6 times now ... read more

I drove to a bank branch to get the letter I was told was mailed out on the 14th - another lie. The branch confirmed it was mailed the 19th after multiple requests. The two gentlemen in the branch were very helpful and nice; but it doesnt erase all the inexperienced people in their load side of the call center. Those people need better training to understand the rules.
