Never had an issue with cashing my check here for 3 years. Today they told me they wouldn't because I didn't have the exact money of the check in my acct. This has never been an issue any other time. Explained this to the Manager woman who greets ppl at the door name started with an S. She was incredibly rude and said " Well if I do this it's not because you are giving me pushback" I was not rude or anything just asked her why they couldnt but her tone was absolutely uncalled for, embarrassing and so unprofessional. They are thieves. On 4/14/25 I deposited $851.99 into an account. It is now 9/10/25. I have been attempting to resolve the matter with their "acceleration" department but to no avail. If nothing is resolved in the next week I will be filing theft reports with the Southgate Police - The Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS), through its Office of Banking at the state level and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency at the federal level. When you get a Cashier's Check, they post date it, so that your other bank you can not deposit it.....PNC excuse is that Saturday is not a business day,,,Me, So,cehen I write a personal check, I don't post date it ...that is only if your depositing it doesn't clear until the next business day......When you get a money order at the post office or grocery store, it's dated the day you get it..... Very Poor Service toward the Customer.....
Horrible drive thru customer service experience ever had at this bank location. Been with PNC when they used to be Security Bank and Trust (many many years ago). Treated me like I was a criminal to withdraw my own money. Will be doing business with another banking location that treats you like a person.
I have recently switched from Huntington to PNC. Best transition ever. PNC has been transparent and even when I made a mistake on opening a type of savings account that wasn’t going to fit my lifestyle they were able to amend it to the savings account that was. And they even gave me an extra $100 after a few months of owning the checking account because I hit a deposit goal I was unaware of, which was awesome!
