went into a PNC bank today to cash a check and was met with a negative experience. The lady at the front desk seemed fine until she saw that it was a $7,000 check. She took the check into Vinita Chawla office and refused to let me follow, claiming I couldn't be in there while they looked at it. It felt like they were profiling me, a young black man trying to cash a check. Absolutely the WORST location to sort out your banking issues. Had me waiting for almost 30 minutes, one associate could clearly see me sitting outside and knew the issue i was there for, but wouldn’t bother to help me until i got frustrated and told them that i had to go to work, while sitting in the cabinet, another associate walks in and has the audacity of asking me how my day has been going so far. Not enough people working at this location. Drive through is a min 30 min wait if you’re 2nd in line. People are nice but Unfortunately the whole experience is unpleasantly long.
This place is a joke in the name of Personalized Banking. I was there this morning (Saturday 11/18). The drive thru was Open, and the sign was also was Green and said Open. I waited, pressed the call button for about 10 minutes. Two other cars lined up after me, and we all left the drive thru since no response for 10 mins. We parked and went inside the branch.
