Deposited a personal check into my wife’s account since I was told it would clear like a normal check does, next day get a email saying it will take about 5 days to clear. Called 5 days later now it’s not gonna be cleared until 8 days. It’s just annoying because this wasn’t my only option to get these funds but seemed convenient/quick with the information given to us by PNC in dekalb. Obnoxious. They require you to come in person to request a currancy exchange, then you have to come back later when they actually have the foreign currancy. You cannot call in and request the exchange ahead of coming to the branch forcing you to make 2 trips. Brain dead policy.
I hate it here. I can't believe it's even legal to charge me a fee for the privilege of keeping my money on a zero-interest loan and when I try to make a $5 online transaction the 3d authentication fails but customer service isn't open so I can't spend my own money. but that's okay, if I wait long enough PNC will get it all as fees and then I won't have it to spend any more problem solved! thanks pnc!
