Called the Rockford, MI branch and talked to Chad the branch manager. I asked him if they had any specials they were running, like 1% interest for 90 days for new accounts. He said all they had was a money market savings account that paid .085%. After talking to him more about it, I told him I would be in within a few hours to open an account. When I arrived at the bank, I introduced myself and he took me back up front to have one of the girls set up the account for me. I guess a 100k deposit did not rate high enough for him... read more
