I can't imagine why this branch gets any negative reviews. I've been coming here very regularly since the late 90s, when it was Bank of Lancaster County, and every experience with the staff has been positive. I especially call out Suzanne R who has been unusually helpful several times. The only complaints I've ever had were about their ATMs, which, like all the other branches, often rejected checks I tried to deposit. I have had nothing but positive experiences with PNC. Customer Service is great when you have to call. Very helpful and professional.
I can see why this place gets such low ratings. We went in to get help to pay off the rest of our mortgage. The bank teller says he needs to see ID, so I repeat we’re paying the rest of our mortgage trying to indicate we need to talk to a banker and not a bank teller. He then makes a snarky comment saying “well i need your ID to look up your information.” Then proceeds to look up the info, ask his coworker for clarification that they (the bank teller) can’t print off a payoff statement. Always too busy to assist customers. 1 banker who can’t meet ever. Schedule an appointment weeks out while the desk employees stare at you assisting no one. The hours of the bank keep anyone working a standard 8-4 from accessing any assistance. A grueling experience at every visit.
