I have been a loyal PNC customer for approximately 40 years, and I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have recently experienced. Over the past several days, I have spent hours attempting to resolve a banking issue through both the customer service call center and my local Venice branch. The first time my husband and I went there to open an account, the manager assisted us. During the process, she asked inappropriate questions such as, “Are you citizens?” We responded, “Yes, ma’am.” She then asked, “Are you the owners?” and we answered, “Yes.” That same day, my husband was wearing a company hat, and she asked, “Are you a technician?” My husband replied, “No, ma’am, I am a field manager.” Overall, the interaction felt unprofessional and inappropriate.
This branch is horrible. Keep driving north and go to the Sarasota PNC where you fill receive great customer service.
