Bill at PMX got me set up with a brand new gear reduction starter to replace my obsolete and unobtainable OEM unit. He was so knowledgeable and tested my old starter and discovered that the shaft had separated internally and was not able to be rebuilt. He took all the guess work out of finding a modern replacement (also 20lbs lighter). If you have a vintage car with a hard to find starter or would like to upgrade to a mini-starter, stop by and see Bill. He'll set you up right!
This guy is the real deal.
I had an expensive and hard to find alternator go out on my 2001 international 3400. Instead of replacing it, I decided to get it rebuilt. Brought it in to Bill and in a couple weeks I had my fully rebuilt alternator in hand and installed it. Everything works great and it was definitely cheaper than buying new. Very pleasant experience. Thank you again Bill.
