I had an emergency gallbladder removal surgery with Kristin Giacolone M.D. yesterday. Her and her staff were AMAZING! Even the man that wheeled me out (I can’t remember his name) was great! They took such good care of me and made me feel very comfortable. I am a nervous person with major anxiety and they made me feel safe and confident about the procedure. Thank you all for being so great!
I'm 2+ weeks from successful kidney cancer surgery. It's sad, very few staff are wearing masks. Yet my daughter, who has been diagnosed with severe anxiety and PTSD, is getting a surgical procedure today and we moved a chair so her husband and I can sit close for support and comfort. We live next door to each other and see each other multiple times a day. We were in a corner across from anyone else is the waiting area, at least 20 feet from them A very rude nurse came by and said they were "still following COVID 19 protocols" and the chairs couldn't moved.
