Worst doctor I’ve ever been to. And with all my medical issues I’ve been to a lot. Come here if you want to be ignored and not have any of your concerns taken seriously. You can tell this doctor does not care for his patients and does the bare minimum.I should have looked at his reviews before going. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I’d say every other doctor in the Kansas City area would be a better choice than going to see Dr. Para.
Dr. Para is nice but his assistant is very rude when I talked to her on the phone. When I was in to see the doctor though my appointment felt rushed and he didn’t seem to check or care for many of my concerns. Probably the worst doctor experience I’ve ever had. I’d give zero stars if I could.
I’d avoid going to this practice. They make getting your medications extremely difficult by making you leave voicemails and you’ll ask for a call back if there’s any issues and they just won’t call you and leave you wondering and in a panic if you’re going to get your meds on time. Exams are never thorough and appoints last 5 minutes because it feels like you’re being rushed out the door. They just want to see as many patients as possible as quickly as possible. Dr. Parra has been my primary care physician for several years and I could not be more satisfied with the care he has provided. His staff is amazing as well, very friendly and professional.
I became sick and I called and made my PCP aware of my condition. I received a message back stating that I should contact my cardiologist. I ended up getting really sick and had to go to the emergency room. Found out it was not cardiac related. After being seen by other doctors it has become crystal clear that I need to find a different PCP.
