5 stars to Plymouth Inn, a B&B - more to offer than most hotels and a lot more than any motel I ever stayed in. I haven’t been to enough B&B’s make a comparison. Plymouth Inn in Ocean City NJ is a wonderfully restored B&B. The ambiance very well matches the tone of the city itself. My wife and I stayed at the Plymouth Inn in Ocean City , NJ the second week in August of this year (2026). This is truly a gem among the places to stay in Ocean City. For bed and breakfast lovers, it is perfect. Our host Nick was very hospitable and gracious and an excellent chef in the kitchen. The inn is elegant with an early 1900’s flair. My partner and I had a really great stay at the Plymouth Inn! The staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. We also had some of the best blueberry pancakes for breakfast. We're already talking about coming back next year!
The Plymouth Inn B & B exudes a charming, warm & inviting atmosphere with its Victorian style furnishings and absolutely delightful innkeepers, Nick & Shirley. Each freshly made breakfast was a royal treat, served on China in the dining room. Relaxing on the front porch rockers was so peaceful. The beach & boardwalk is only a block away. Sleep came easy on the very comfortable bed. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a special experience during your visit to OCNJ.
This is THE place to stay in OC. It’s clean, comfortable, convenient, and run by wonderful people. With breakfast, parking and beach tags included, it can’t be topped. I’ve stayed here multiple times over 10 years.
