One of my favorite gyms in the city! Joe and All of the coaches are so great! They are encouraging but also will push you!! The programming is hard but in a good way, I am definitely stronger than I have ever been in my life! The best part is the community of people, so many have become really great friends as well!
This is a GREAT gym! Joe not only wants us to succeed in our goals but genuinely practices safety first. I am 56 and was a little concerned initally that I may hurt myself, but he and the other coaches are always available for questions and guidance. It's a family. I was welcomed with open arms!
I got out of the military back in 2018, after spending 6 years of being told what to do and how to do it and being forced to work out and be in shape I came out to the real world and quickly realized that I no longer had anyone forcing me to do anything and I had to take my physical fitness and health into my own hands. I’ve been a member at Plus Ultra for almost 3 years. My search for the right gym started when we moved here in 2020. While there are many good gyms in FW that I tried out, this one was instantly the best fit for me. There’s sarcasm, encouragement, a feeling of belonging, and there’s a bald giant named Joe. Joe creates all of the workouts and pushes you to survive them with a dumb smile plastered across his face and awful music. He gets on my nerves during every workout, so I often return the favor.
