My daughters 5 year birthday happened to fall during this whole Coronavirus lock-down, and she really wanted a skateboard for her birthday. I don't skateboard, so I have no idea where to begin when buying one. I was able to get ahold of Rob through email, who then called me and talked me through some basics of what to get. He then went beyond our expectations, and put some boards on display in the shops window that he thought a 5 year old might like, so my Daughter and I could simply drive by and look at them. These guys are super helpful and supportive. I didn't know anything about skateboarding but they helped me get my daughter squared away with something nice that worked for her.

This place is seriously magical. Growing up skating through the 90s and 000s shaped me and when I was finally introduced to plus years ago it blew my mind. Wish it wasn’t a few hours away but it’s the best reason to trip to Detroit and skate modern. Forever my favorite skate shop thanks for everything Plus does for the Michigan heads much love!
