I had a very disappointing experience with this gym. When I signed up, I clearly asked for a one-month membership only and did not want any extension or ongoing contract. I attended the gym for about two weeks, and after that I stopped going. Despite this, my membership was continued without my consent, and I am now being asked to pay nearly three months of fees for a service I did not use and did not agree to continue. Well I guess I am not the only one here with similar experience with them! ❌️ I had a one year membership with Plus Fitness. Before my contract end date, I called to advise that I was happy to pay until the contract finished and that I did not want it renewed. This was due to an urgent overseas family emergency, and I was leaving Australia within days. I’ve been a member of Plus Fitness Southport for over 12 months, primarily because the location is convenient with my work and the gym is generally quiet in the mornings. Unfortunately, cleanliness has been a consistent issue throughout my membership. The facility often appears poorly maintained. Bathroom floors are frequently oily from weeks - months of buildup, soap dispensers are left empty for extended periods, and the same rubbish can remain in the bathrooms for several days - suggesting they are not checked regularly. ... read more

Tried to cancel my gym membership over the phone the said I have to go in person to fill out a form I live 40mins drive away from the gym but anyhow I made it here today Friday 11am which is staff hour but nobody’s working, I tried to call them but rudely they hanged up the phone on me!
