Yesterday I had Gamma Knife Radiosurgery at Roswell Park Hospital with Dr. Robert Punkett as my surgeon. I've been a nurse for 43 years and never in my time in nursing have I met a more compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. He and his staff made my experience as comfortable as possible. I have no doubt that the tumor on my brain has been taken care of, and then, in three months, we will start the 3 stage Deep Brain Stimulation surgeries.
