Building a home with Plunkett has been a nightmare from start to finish. What was supposed to take 12 months ended up dragging on for 3 years, riddled with countless mistakes and delays. The drafting team made multiple errors, leading to an unsightly bulkhead that wasn't part of the original plan. We faced an 8-month delay from bricks to roof, and even after handover, PCI items remain unresolved. Extremely long build time - 2 years to get to lockup - still no end date given. Was initially told we would have the keys in 9 months. Reality was 10 months gap between bricks and roof frame with timber sitting in the mud for 4 of those. Queries go unanswered for weeks (months in some cases). Overall this has been a terrible and stressful experience dealing with Plunkett.
