We have a Marathon Rheem plastic hot water tank. we didn't know when we bought it 3.5 years ago that it was possibly going to be one of the worst home-owning decisions we could have made, despite the lifetime warranty. When it sprung a leak from the intake/ outtake at the top of the tank, TWO plumbers told us they were not going to touch it.
