I will never give a 1 or 2-star review, no matter how bad the service because I understand what it can do to your business... However, I own a property management company; we manage about 130 homes in the DFW area. We had an emergency issue at one of our properties on Saturday night. I was out of town, so we called Plumb Shield out of desperation. SCAMMERS—BEWARE! Called them for a tankless water heater issue (which we already diagnosed). Paid $200 for a tech to confirm the obvious. He ordered a free replacement part under warranty—then quoted $800 to install it! I replaced it myself in minutes by unscrewing one screw. Complete ripoff. Dishonest and overpriced—stay away! Respond to owner comment: I never requested a diagnosis—I already knew it was an ignition issue from a simple internet search and told your office that upfront.
